Address intelligence

Address intelligence uses G-NAF-backed Australian address data to normalise and compare addresses in due-diligence workflows.

  • Whether an address can be normalised to a recognised Australian address shape.
  • Whether two submitted addresses appear to refer to the same or a nearby property.
  • Locality, state, postcode, and source-level metadata useful for human review.
  • Confidence labels that help an agent explain the match quality.
  • It does not prove that a person or business occupies an address.
  • It does not prove ownership, lease rights, or a right to receive goods.
  • It does not replace source documents, identity checks, or payment verification.

G-NAF-derived data should be shown with source attribution, timestamp, and confidence. When the match is used in a decision workflow, retain the source timestamp in the Evidence Pack so reviewers can see what was checked.

Use address intelligence as one source signal alongside ABN, GST, PPSR, ASIC entity intelligence, invoice metadata, and human review. Treat low-confidence or ambiguous matches as a prompt to ask for better evidence.
