Install in Cline

Cline reads MCP server configuration from its settings panel or mcp_settings.json.

Steps

1. Install Cline from the VS Code marketplace if needed.
2. Open the Cline MCP settings panel or edit ~/.cline/mcp_settings.json.
3. Add the hoist-assets server.
4. Reload the VS Code window.
5. Approve OAuth on first use.

Smoke test

Ask Cline: “Use hoist-assets to look up registered business names for ABN 11695718659.”

Troubleshooting

• If tools do not appear, reload the VS Code window.
• If the OAuth window does not open, check your default browser.
• If calls return 403, re-approve OAuth.
