ChatGPT can connect to Hoist Assets through MCP connectors when the feature is available for the account, workspace, and admin policy.

Steps

1. Open ChatGPT settings.
2. Go to Connectors or MCP servers, depending on the workspace UI.
3. Add a custom MCP server with the Hoist Assets URL.
4. Approve the OAuth scopes shown by ChatGPT.
5. Use the tool picker to make Hoist Assets available in the conversation.

Smoke test

Ask: “Use Hoist Assets to run a PPSR organisation search on ACN 123 456 789 using a sample response.” ChatGPT should route to ppsr_search_organisation.

Troubleshooting

• If connectors are unavailable, check the plan and workspace admin policy.
• If the OAuth window does not open, check browser pop-up settings.
• If calls return 403, re-approve OAuth.
